Great corned beef and pastrami, as well as cold cuts cheesesteaks & chicken cheesesteaks. Everything is size comparable to the other delis yet much much fresher!

Way over priced food. Went there to order to deli Reuben sandwiches and the total came to $25.42. At the end of the day...its bread and lunchmeat. I told the nice gentlemen he can keep that sandwich.

We had Pastrami and Corned Beef sandwiches. Both were just awesome! Corned beef was sliced thin and served between rye bread. Very soft and tasty and not heavy. If you want bit more grease, go for Pastrami. I certainly enjoyed it. However it does come with price. But as I always say, I am happy to pay more for a good meal. Enjoy!

Ok, so here goes If you live in Owings Mills, and you want Jewish Deli, go to the Suburban House. Only down side is that they don't deliver. Well, they do, but they use that 2nd hand business. Carryout.com or something Anyway, back to Steve's First off, they have good chopped liver, which i love BUT, EVERY time i have been there, the idiots can never find it on the register Steve, the owner always thanks you when you leave, but he is a total jackass to his workers. Yells and screams at them. He is part of the Saval family Saval as in the Sysco of local deli food distribution So, i have gotten food from here mainly because they deliver So does Lenny's, but they are in Pikesville, and they don't serve chopped liver OR tongue !!!!! Steve's Like i said, good chopped liver BUT I have asked them if they can make a Turkey Rachael or a cloak and daggar, and each time they get an employee named Rachael on the phone Then i have to re-explain everything Oh yeah, i'm, as GOY as GOYIM can be, but i make better MB soup then they do. Runny. Thin. Overcooked noodles Go to Suburban House

A former local, I was in from out of town for just a day and wanted some good ol Jewish food. Steve's was convenient. I asked my dad if he'd had the stuffed cabbage. He said it was ok, but "it's not Miller's", the reigning stuffed cabbage champion. Well, I'll say it wasn't Miller's. It wasn't even McDonald's. When I saw them unwrap the cabbage from the Saran Wrap, I knew I was in trouble. It was awful. The meat was an inedible chunk of meat. Way too solid. The sauce was nearly nonexistent and had the flavor profile of stale water. The cabbage was limp. One star for the perfectly well done fries. Next visit, it's Miller's time.

I came in on a Sunday afternoon, and was told that because they were closing in 40 minutes, they really didn't want to make anymore food (due to the manager wanting to get out ASAP). So I turned around an walked out. If that's how it's going to be, then don't worry. Qdoba was open and willing to make my food and take my money. I won't be back to this place.

This place has 2nd rate deli and if you wait long enough because the line moves slow you will surely hear the owner berate, humiliate and scream at his employees. If you want 1st quality deli in NW Baltimore go to Lennys though the cafteria line is a pain at least the food is by far better! Bottom line this guy really needs to learn how to speak to the people who work for him he is rough to say the least.

I should have known better, based on the Yelp reviews. But I needed sandwiches delivered for a business meeting and there aren't a wealth of choices in the area, so I took a chance and placed the order with Steve's. Mistake. The order was placed the day before my meeting and was to arrive at 5. By 5:10 I was worried and called. I was told that they had "a new system" and that the order was leaving late but was on its way. At 5:40 it still hadn't arrived but we did get a call from the delivery person who claimed he couldn't find my office building (which is right at Owings Mills Mall, couldn't be easier to find.) By that time, I hardly needed the food anymore since the meeting was halfway over. Called the deli was and told, again, that they had a "new system" and to please accept their "sincere apologies." Frankly, when you completely screw up my meeting I don't want apologies, but that was all I was offered. When the delivery person finally arrived he said he was late because "they forgot." So much for the new system. For what I got, the food was way overpriced and considering the hassle I would never attempt it again. Which is a shame, since I schedule these meetings pretty much monthly, so they could have had a good customer in me.

When I first entered this place I couldn't believe the amount of space they had, I thought it'd be a small sub shop but it was in a grill, restaurant style with indoor and outdoor seating. It's a very family friendly, kid friendly, nice comfortable place to eat with free wi-fi service, people of all types eat here. You'd never think that this place is literally always busy. My first and second time there I was handed freshly cut hot pastrami to sample, which is always a good thing. I was glad to get a precursor to what I might be getting, it was great! I get the Italian Cold Cut sub just to keep it simple, I'm not sure what I want to try next because they do have a large menu. This is the first sub in my life that has had meat until the end of the roll. So you don't have just bread at the end. With taxes my sub rings up to a hefty $9 or a little more. Normally, thats too much but I had to splurge. The sub is delicious with everything on it, the bread could be softer but it is perfect and won't break down the back like most juicy subs. They have breakfast items like waffles, omelettes and pancakes. I saw them making an omelette, contains 3 eggs it was ginormous with a hell of alot of fillings. They also have lunch and dinner options and platters. Subs, wraps, salads, soups, hot dogs, hamburgers. I can't wait until I get the courage to try something new and review it here.

The only meals I've eaten at Steve's deli are breakfasts. The French toast was sub par but the pancakes are phenomenal. A huge, huge plate of pancakes for $4.99. They were delicious. The bacon was undercooked but the home fries were tasty. All side items are al a carte so it can be kind of pricey. All in all, a pretty decent deli.

Well, when you just can't get to a good jewish deli in NYC, and you are craving a corned beef or pastrami sandwich, you can come to Steve's Deli in Owings Mills. It is reasonably neat and clean, the staff are friendly, and you get generous (though not NY) portions of deli meats. The corned beef, pastrami and tongue are of excellent quality (stay away from "extra-lean", you are not here to diet). The downside is their pathetic, supermarket-type rye bread, which sogs, and falls apart as you are trying to eat your sandwich. The mustard, and pickles also leave much to be desired. I have not tried other offerings, as there are probably a dozen places near-by to have breakfast, to buy ordinary subs, etc. If you live nearby, it would make more sense to buy their deli meats by the pound, and get some decent bread to make your own sandwiches.

We have gotten party trays from Steve's on several occassions. The presentation was great and the food outstanding. Steve's corned beef and pastrami are the best in Baltimore and every bit as good as you get in NY.

I was really surprised by Steve's! Great real turkey breast! Not inexpensive for a deli, but the food was fresh, made to order, and tasty.

Mediocre corned beef sandwich. Besides that the meat was pre-sliced and warmed up on a pan...there was barely any meat on the sandwich. Looks like gotta make a trip to Attman's or Chap's in the city.

I like the subs, but I am no longer going to be spending my money at Steve's Deli. I have tried to eat here twice this week, an hour before they close, and both times the doors have been locked and the staff has been sitting around inside waiting out the clock. Is this restaurant run by a bunch of children? I called as well, they answered. I was told they closed because they had been slow for the past 30 minutes. I hope this is how the owner wants his business run. It is decent, but not worth the trip if every time I go they have the doors locked. I went to Vito's last night instead, it was better - and the best part was they were open during the hours they say they will be.
